Seoda
Seoda: Treasures from the Irish Film Archive.
Seoda is a new collection of eleven short Irish films which have been selected from thousands preserved in the Irish Film Archive. Introduced by legendary actor Niall Toibin, the series presents a fascinating kaleidoscope of ordinary and extraordinary moments in Irish life from the 1940s to the 1970s.
The series allows viewers to travel alongside President Kennedy during his 1963 visit to Dublin, Waterford and Wexford, take the last tram from Howth in the company of Cyril Cusack, contrast the bustle of 1950's Dublin with tranquillity of the Cork village of Crookhaven and enjoy the wonderful music of the 1967 fleadh in Kilrush, County Clare.
