Football Final 1972 - Kerry v Offaly (replay) - Highlights only

1972 – Offaly (1-19) v Kerry (0-13) [replay]: To win this, champions Offaly would have to break two traditions. No Leinster county has retained the All-Ireland since 1928 and Kerry have lost just one of six replays. After a summer of mixed form they have lost two important players in the injured Nicholas Clavin and Mick O’Rourke. Despite a surprising lapse in captain Tony McTague’s normally flawless place kicking Offaly were the better team in the drawn match. But Kerry, with veterans Mick O’Dwyer and Mick O’Connell playing in their last All-Ireland are poised.
Note – This DVD has highlights only for this match (33 mins.) as that is all the recorded footage that still exists.
This DVD also has highlights of the 1973 Final (30 mins.) and the 1974 Final (34 Mins.)
