Camogie 2010 Wexford v Galway
Wexford were back in their first camogie final since winning the 2007 Championship. Their opponents, Galway, had last reached the final in 2008 but were unsuccessful and haven’t won the title since 1996. It was a challenging path for both counties to reach the Gala sponsored 2010 final. Galway disposed of reigning champions Cork at the semi-final stage (after a replay) and in the other semi Wexford had a confidence boosting 7 point win over close rivals Kilkenny. So both teams were in the final on merit but who would win the O’Duffy Cup?
