Kilkenny 1-16 : Cork 1-13

Cork were going for three-in-a-row but the spice of the final laid in the fact that in 2003 Kilkenny were aiming to achieve the same thing but were stopped by Cork. Could this be the added motivation for Kilkenny or can Cork extend their run of titles ?
