 It's 20 years since these
counties - once regular rivals - have met in a final.
Tipp are the more established having won the
All-Ireland just two years previously and this season
have won an epic, replayed Munster final against
All-Ireland champions Cork as well as blitzing old
sparring partners Galway. Kilkenny, managed by former
goalkeeping great Ollie Walsh, have taken Leinster for
the first time in four years by squeezing past a game
Dublin side and are back in the big time against Babs
Keating's talented team.
