New GAA Releases for 2010
2010 has turned out to be a vintage year in gaelic games, in both hurling and football.
In hurling Tipperary were motivated to reverse the outcome in 2009 and in so doing stop Kilkenny in their tracks to achive the unique 5-in-a-row. And Waterford, Cork and Galway were the centre of the action in some of the finest hurling displays in recent years. Pure drama!
The football championship had even more excitement than hurling in terms of outstanding matches and surprises. The dominant Kerry and Tyrone were ousted and Cork, Down, Kildare, Roscommmon, Sligo, Meath, Louth and Dublin were just some of the counties to cause upsets and make headlines. There was controversy. There was drama. There was defiance of the odds. There was intense football action.
Now many of the best matches have been released - full lenghth - on DVD.
